Fraudulent billing and illegal business practices is the best way to describe Hammacher Schlemmers business model. They do absolutely everything to cheat the customer and behave so unethically, there should be legal action taken against them and they should be shut down. Even with very clear documentation that I have, such as my emailed receipt and copies of the fraudulent charges they have placed on my bank account, they are unwilling to correct their glaring errors and adhere to the legal contract that is made between business and customer when the customer authorizes the amount for which they agree to pay the company.
