I ordered a product from them, A makeup applicator machine. The ad stated that came with makeup, blush and mascara. I recieved the package and it was missing the make up of which the machine is no good without the make up that it is suppose to come with. I informed the company immediately and they got back to me stated the my subscription would be cancelled and No More billing /charges would come to me. They have continued to try to bill my credit card at least four times sense the email stating that they would no longer charging me for anything causing me to have 4 overdrafts to my acct.Customer Reviews
Luminess Direct is a shotty business. Buyer Beware. Their so-called customer care reps either do not answer their phones, respond to emails in a timely manner, or try the "broken tune of "Oh, we will send you a replacement item." Their return policy is a conflict of interest and breeches federal and stated consumer protection laws. If you do speak to a "live body" these people are not savvy with consumer commercial law. Contact your state AG's and the Texas AG. They need to be made aware of their practices. Log all correspondence, if any (times, dates, conversations, et al). Get names if you can. Keep the emotion out of your records but detail their unwillingness to follow proper business law. Maybe they will eventually be terminated from selling anyone this garbage product. This review comes off of a personal experience. I have documented ALL return protocol off their site, have retained their so-called RA number and will expect a return of my money. I will provide a follow-up as to the outcome of this God awful experience....
