Customer ComplaintsWe are *** ******** **** – a trucking company based out of Port Wentworth, GA. On April 10th 2019 we booked load # ********** for $1,500.00 from Pooler GA to Denton TX with Orest Y****** from PLS Logistics to be picked up on April 12th and delivered on 15th. Load was picked up on time without any issues. On April 13th, we reported to PLS Logistics Services that we were experiencing a significant break down with our truck, involving over the weekend stay in Atlanta GA until Monday morning when the shop opened. We communicated with PLS team, updating and rescheduling along the way. Copy of repair order was emailed to PLS Logistics per their request. Due to the fact that repairs took the entire day on April 15th, our driver did not have enough driving hours to deliver on initial scheduled delivery date of April 15th. As a result, because receiving hours of the delivery location were only from 12am to 4am, load was delivered in early hours of April 17th. Shortly after the load was delivered, we received an email from Orest stating that our rate was reduced by $600 ($300 per day) due to breakdown. As PLS account manager Alexandra S**** explained to us - breakdowns are not reasonable cause of delays in their eyes and that they expect their carriers to find a way to repower their truck if an issue like this occurs. What PLS Logistics is ignoring, is the fact that major breakdowns are one of the major reasons for freight delays around our nation. Even arranging replacement/rental equipment may take days due to limited availability of equipment or long approval and setup times. Please note that in our 10 plus years in business we have never been ripped off by any brokerage, because of a major mechanical breakdown. Pls Logistics should be well aware, as a brokerage company in freight moving business that breakdowns happen. Trucker, receivers, shippers and customers all know it. And so do the thousands of other legitimate brokers. PLS Logitiscs also refused to reimburse us the full lumper amount of $199 (only $45 was approved) stating that restack fee of $150 and convenience fee of $4 are not their responsibility and that the driver arrived with the product in the downed condition causing restack fee to be applied. Please note this load was no touch to the driver. Driver had to wait for the trailer in the waiting room at the shipper. When the driver was called to pick up loaded trailer, due to limited view he only was able to see the condition of the first front pallets. He physically could not see that one of the rear pallets was lacking shrink wrap and as the result would fall down. He would definitely make a request to rework it but it was impossible for him to evaluate load securement as trailer was heavily loaded with 22 pallets sitting there side by side. We insist that restack fee should be fully reimbursed to us as it was not the driver’s fault, but the shipper’s negligence in loading process that caused the pallet to fall. PLS Logistics take advantage of small trucking companies and Owner Operators, by ripping them off for no apparent reason, this is also evident from numerous online complaints by other people who have fallen prey to PLS’s sneaky tactics and unfounded ways to deny paying in full for the freight moving services provided to them. Please note, these situations (late due to breakdown, restocking and lumpers) are quite common in our industry and most legitimate brokerages understand this and work with carriers as well as their customers and warehouses to resolve these issues in an honest and fair way. PLS logistics flat out deny to pay carriers what they're owed. Reducing rate by $600 and not reimbursing the full amount of lumper is not acceptable! What PLS is doing here, is very dishonest and illegal! We asked them nicely to revise our rate confirmation to original amount of $1,500 and reimburse the restack fee but were told that our request was denied. We are submitting this formal complaint to BBB with hope that we can resolve this issue with PLS Logistics and avoid taking legal action against them. Thank you

Ending up calling the number listed here and spoke with the ** of the company (****) who said he would take care of it for me and it was their St. ***** ****** that is calling....
