I placed an order with Zara on 11/01 for my niece and nephew birthday. The order arrived 11/10 and the boots were too small. I tried to contact Zara and after reading the website it mentioned the best way for a replacement is to return for a refund and rebuy (in my case the correct size). I requested a return and mailed back 11/11. The website mentions that return refunds can take up to 14 days and would apply back to original method of payment. This now brings me to December and by this point, it seems odd that I haven’t heard anything. I start calling and try to chat online and crickets. By January 2021 (3 months) I am annoyed. I finally sit on hold for 45 minutes and a few different times to straighten out what is going on. I reach a live person 01/12 and she says that the refund could take up to 14 business days. I ordered the Lapel Coat in a size small, unfortunately that size did not fit well so I immediately put it back into the shipping box and sent in a request for an exchange. After receiving the exchange label I dropped the package off at *** *or shipping. About a week later, I received the the size medium I had exchanged the small for. A week after that, I received an email saying they were not approving my exchange due to a "smell" on the coat, and they are shipping it back to me. I reached out to a customer service agent by the name of Thelma who assisted me. She was extremely rude in the way she handled the issue. She told me I will be charged for both coats, and hung up on me. Today I received an email saying they never received the size small coat, and they are charging my card again. I checked by bank account and the charge is pending, and I have yet to receive the size small coat they apparently were shipping back to me. I am a frequent online shopper and I have never experienced this type of treatment before, I am extremely upset. I was referred to this company through a friend who purchased the same coat. I will not be shopping with them again and I recommend no one else does either. I have contacted my bank to dispute the charge and be issued a new debit card. I do not trust this company whatsoever....
