Customer Complaints
I ordered glasses in September 2021 Received them in October. The bifocal part was wrong. Supposed to be **** and they had it at ****. Per local doctor. Sent them back and received exactly the same prescription. Sent them back again with copy of prescription. They received them back on Sept 17 per zenni. But no one can tell me where they are or nothing about them. I have called several days they tell me the same thing to wait a few more days. So I finally Email them and they told me the same thing. I'm sorry I usually don't complain about nothing. I'm on a fixed income. Eighter give me my glasses that are the correct prescription or my money back so I can go local to buy them. Thank you very much Price $134.00Customer Reviews
Zenni optical provides ZERO customer service if you have a problem with your purchase. They say they will call you back or have a supervisor call you back but simply don't. They can mess up your glasses and only give you the option of "returning" them under the warranty period. You have to wait for the bad glasses (you ship back) to be returned to them before you get your money back to re-purchase the glasses that they screwed up! Seriously? I have spent over 2 hours on the phone and waited 7 hours for a supervisor to call me back... still nothing. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your glasses! Thank you for posting your Zenni review of the eyeglasses that were intended to be ordered as single-vision computer glasses, but the prescriptions were converted for single-vision reading glasses instead. We were sorry to read that on two orders placed on November 28, 2021, on order o4332106655, the prescription that was entered for full-rim, square, plastic, ***** frame ******, with a frame width of 144 millimeters, was a single-vision reading prescription, and that on order o4332585163, the prescription that was entered for full-rim, rectangular, flexible-plastic, black frame ******, with a ***** interior and a frame width of 143 mm, also was a single-vision reading prescription. Consequently, we apologize for any misunderstanding of the conversion process of multifocal prescriptions for computer and reading glasses. We were also sorry to read that you had a long time to wait to speak with a supervisor, although our supervisor confirmed that they telephoned you to discuss this matter and when no one answered, there was no option to leave a voicemail message. However, it was good to see that our supervisor did contact you and explained that for computer vision, the process is to divide the Near Vision Reading Addition correction (NV-ADD) in half, and add that amount to the Spheres, and leave the pupillary distance (PD) as it is for distance vision. In the case of an NV-ADD of +****, as on these two prescriptions, which is not evenly divisible by 2, since **** is the lowest diopter increment, you may add either +**** to the Spheres if you want stronger computer vision, or +**** to the Spheres if you want milder computer vision. Nevertheless, we understand that our supervisor made a customer service exception to enable you to return these two pairs of glasses from these two orders for 100 percent refunds of the price of the two pairs of glasses to the credit card used to pay for them. We emailed you the instructions to return these two pairs of eyeglasses to us for the 100 percent refund of what you spent on them to the credit card you used to pay for them, and we also emailed you a prepaid mailing label to use for return postage. We look forward to receiving these returned eyeglasses so that we may issue these 100 percent credit card refunds, which we hope will resolve this matter to your satisfaction.
