I injured my foot on 4/10/2021 and went to the urgent care at Baylor Scott & White in Marble Falls, TX. My foot was broken and I was give a boot and a pair of crutches. The crutches did not work for me so I called DJO global to inform them within 2 days of receiving the crutches and they said that these were not a returnable item and therefore, i could keep them but I would not be charged. Sometime in July i received a bill indicating I owed $53.12. I called on 8/1`0 to dispute and they asked for a reference number, which I was not given. They then said they listened to all phone calls and there was no such call. It is my word against theirs as I did call to take care of this matter and was told I did not need to return the crutches. I also emailed **********@jdoglobal.com on August 10, 2021 - no response. Called today 9-10, told to pay. Very disappointed in this organization and lack of customer service. I will pay the bill, but only to protect my credit - feel hostage.Customer Reviews
Received a brace from my ortho doctor. DJO has never filed with my insurance company and now it is in collections. Customer service is terrible. I have wasted 3 or 4 hours of my time trying to get this taken care of. The number to call for billing on the invoice is never answered. Today I have been on hold for 50 minutes. When the phone was answered I got disconnected. I found another number online and now on hold again. I have never has such horrible customer service and billing errors. When you call if the rep doesn't want to talk or can't answer the question they just put you on hold. If I ever need a brace again I will definitely ask who the company selling the product is before I buy it.
