I have tried stop receiving emails from summit racing over 25 times. I have used there unsubscribe link and still receive adds and emails from them.Customer Reviews
Is Summit broke?Ordered a carb, EDL ****, with the understanding it would be 2 weeks before it shipped. That's fine. Even if it was a week longer, that's fine. Got an Email stating it would be almost 2 months before it could ship. Too long. Called and cancelled the order. NP doing that. 3-5 to get money back. Well, so be it. 7 days and counting and still nothing. How come it only takes minutes for these companies to take your money but days even weeks to return it? Now I see they are using covid as excuse for delays in refunding money. Why no delay in taking it? Only takes minutes to take it. Do I need the money? Well there's other things I would like to order and I have to pull more money out of savings because a multi million dollar operation is so greedy they have to hold your money for the interest? Maybe Summit needs to stop sponsoring motorsports if they can't afford to give back a measly $511 back in a timely manner. I posted this complaint yesterday on another sight and low and behold at, an interesting, 10:58 PM EST I received an email stating the refund was issued. If this was true it would have been in my account at 12:30 pm EST just like every other time a refund was given. It is also stated in the email to allow another 3-5 days on top of the 7 already past. How bout Summit not taking ppls money until they items are in customers hands?Thank you for affording us the opportunity to respond to you. Feedback from our customers plays a very important role in our companys mission. Our records indicate your order was placed on 12-2-21 and set to ship directly from the manufacturer to you. All dropships sent directly from the manufacturer are billed at the time the order is placed. The vendor confirmed the order on 12-3-21 and provided us an estimated shipping date of sometime late January. We emailed you an update with this information the same day. You contacted our service staff by phone on 12-7-21 to cancel your order from the manufacturer, this confirmation can be delayed as we await their response to verify cancellation. Once this had been confirmed, the cancellation process had started. This is a manual process where all refunds are reviewed in chronological order. Depending upon the volume, this can also create a delay. Unfortunately due to the time of day your refund was processed on 12-10-21, it did not make the Friday cut off and was processed by accounting on Monday 12/13. Your refund is now with your financial institution which typically will take 3-5 business days to post to your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.Wow, sure is a lot of processes and slight of hand to get a refund. Here's an Idea. Use the same magic returning money as you do taking it. I bought an economy intake for a Mopar and it was c*** so I exchanged it for an Edelbrock. Had to mail the old 1 back, spend some more money, wait it to get back to the manufacturer, make the exchange and shipping back and I can say with confidence it was faster than this process. Quote: Your refund is now with your financial institution which typically will take 3-5 business days to post to your account. End Quote. This I believe to be BS. This ain't my first rodeo. If this was true it would show up as pending in my checking account, the day they received it, and be available by noon time the next day. Latest. Just like every other refund i've received. Anyway, I never had any issues with Summit before this and if you're going to say It's good business practice to take money in minutes and 2 weeks to return it, no matter what the excuses, I'll take my measly pittance elsewhere. I doubt you'll miss it.
