Incident Description Load Number: 6241827 DSD Merchandise Livermore, CA to Safeway Auburn, WA Email written by Monika but driver my husband sitting next to me explaining. I ****** ***** (Owner of Ocean Express) booked a load with Trinity Logistics MC-205157 DOT: 2214024 on Friday Oct 2,2020 (being 1st load with this company). On Oct 5th the day of loading we receive email from *** *********** (4*** ******** about ETA to shipper and I told him bet 10:30 and 11am being shipper 1st come 1st serve. He even activated Micropoint for tracking. Anyways my husband ***** left to pick up the load starting his ELD. Then my husband ***** read an email by ***** ********* ************** ************* that load won't be ready until 2pm. My husband called ***** that instead of emailing, he should have called him about the change as emails on phones sometimes take longer time to receive. He was so rude and told him I am a busy man and had to take care of other drivers too. My husband ***** told him he already started his log book and his hours will go waste and why inform at the last minute when driver already left for the load. Anyways my husband called the shipper immediately to double check and shipper said load is not going to be ready before 5pm and told my husband you can check in but you have to sit here all day. My husband (driver) called ***** back and told him that shipper is saying 5pm he got mad n told my husband sir very rudely why are you calling my customer, and go and check in. He was treating as if he is his employee and has no right to ask between right and wrong which was making him mad. Anyways my husband checked in with shipper in Livermore, CA around 11:20pm. Then my husband (driver) checked with shipper around 1:50pm as to how long before load gets ready and shipper said we are still working on it and could be after 6pm. My driver ***** called ***** that why he lied that load is going to be ready by 2pm when shipper on first place said 5pm. He immediately got so rude and told my husband "sir this is trucking, and you ask me too many questions and said he is done with my husband. At first place ***** lied load being ready at 2pm when shipper at the same time said 5pm. My husband still waited over 3 hours and next thing he does finds another truck and simply cancels the load on us. My husband had a chain of schedule and all got messed up and he had to come home wasting diesel and all day. When my husband told him he is losing hours on his ELD clock and he goes like my other drivers never complain. Basically he promotes ELD violations and manipulations. Time is money and brokers like ***** who are full of attitude and very rude to new carriers shouldn't be in big companies like Trinity Logistics. All he cared about his customer and blamed my husband that he told shipper that he is leaving. He is all drama and rude person and misinformed us about pickups and last minute changes. He should pay us **** and apologize. Since 2011 when we started this company, this is our first complain as it takes me a lot before I waste my time on writing long complaints. But we felt so hurt n shattered after working with rude guy like him. He will get bad reputation for such a big company Trinity Logistics. If people don't complain doesn't mean all is fine. He said delivery is on Safeway and they are strict on charging $500 late fee and you have to stick to delivery appointment no matter. He won't listen to my husband that if hours are wasted sitting at shipper how can he make on time delivery but finally he cancelled and told him he found another carrier who can make the delivery. It was just a discussion nothing else but he doesn't like any driver sharing his concerns and also about ELD laws all he cares about his customer.
